Georgino has always had a love of cutting-edge technology, international business and the legal field. Since graduating from Dickinson College/Johns Hopkins, her professional experience has encompassed senior international corporate legal roles, strategic account management and business development - enterprise sales. She was raised in the “business of healthcare” (father was Chairman of the Board of a large regional hospital in NE, US), and she was a hospital consultant and physician recruiter with a national physician recruiting firm, Merritt Hawkins.
In the spring of 2017, after working on a contract in the telehealth industry, she was invited to an IBM Blockchain event, where Tapscott (Blockchain Revolution) was the keynote. She immediately committed to this exciting, new technology. Soon after that event, she was offered a position with a pioneering blockchain startup in the healthcare space, being part of the disruption first-hand. By the end of 2017, she was the Senior Editor of Blockchain Healthcare Review, where she interviewed leading thought leaders, performed research in the space with startups and chaired/moderated numerous blockchain panels at blockchain in healthcare conferences nationwide. In 2018, she was a founding member, Advisor and VP of the Blockchain Chamber of Commerce startup and is currently on the advisory boards of Georgia Blockchain Coalition, The Atlanta Blockchain Meetup and The Technology Association of Georgia’s Digital Health SIG.
